Philippines pegs inflation at 2-4% in 2019

Inflation in the Philippines, which has continued to decline gradually from 4.4% in January to 3% in April, recently increased to 3.2% in May due to increasing food prices resulting from El Niño.

Philippine government planners expect full year inflation to settle within the 2-4% target for 2019.
