Stars Food Group signs a long-term loan agreement to boost capacity

Stars Food Group has signed an agreement with Krung Thai Bank Plc to secure 407 million baht long-term loan to bolster capacity.

Dr Chaisaks Roojthanasap, CEO, said the proceedings will be set aside for financing the company’s feed mill in Photharam, Ratchaburi. The plant  supplying around 45,000 tonnes/month will be operable in Q1, 2022.

Also, the loan will be used for upgrading SFG processing capacity at Ban Pong, Ratchaburi from 110,000 to 160,000 birds/day. The project is set to complete by December, 2021.

SFG is preparing to invest in a new processing plant, 120,000 birds/day in Photharam, Ratchaiburi. The new plant is designed for serving offshore markets. Meanwhile, groundwork is underway. The company plans to apply for an export license. The construction will be completed around Q1, 2023. At that time, the group will have a combined capacity of 280,000 birds/day.
