As of Sept 7, 2018, China’s Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs has officially reported 14 outbreaks of African swine fever across six different locations. The first case was reported on Aug 3.

Outbreaks have been reported in Shenyang, Liaoning province; Zhengzhou, Henan province;  Lianyungang, Wuxi,  Jiangsu province; Wenzhou, Zhejiang province; Wuhu City, Xuancheng (Wuxing township), Xuancheng (Guquan town), Xuancheng (Jinba office), Chuzhou, Xuancheng (Tianhu township), Wuhu (Xuzhen township), Anhui province, and Jiamusi, Heilongjiang province.
